This is a basic comparison of features supported by Linux and Windows 2000. We recommend Linux for sites that are mostly HTML and/or CGI scripts. For sites with databases, ASP coding or if you use Frontpage to publish your site, you must use the Windows platform.

Be aware that although CGI scripts are supported on both platforms some of the syntax's may be slightly different. Ensure before signing up that your CGI scripts will support the platform you choose.
