Adam
Moffett Design runs a comprehensive statistics program
for our users. It includes logging of referrers,
hits, session and more. Visit the control panel
to view your statistics. Your Server ID to login
to the statistics is your username and this can
be found in your welcome email.. The statistics
are usually about 6 hours behind in displaying your
statistics for Windows accounts and 24 hours for
UNIX clients. If you wish to password protect your
statistics you can do so by logging in to the statistics
and clicking on 'Virtual Admin'.
Please
note that our Statistics Server runs off TCP port
81. If you have problems accessing your statistics
server from the control panel ensure that you have
TCP port 81 open in your firewall. |

Use
this button to create an ODBC connection. Open Database
Connectivity (ODBC) is a widely accepted application
programming interface (API) for database access.
You will need to include the DSN name the database
type and the path. If the database type is not listed
(such as FoxPro or MS SQL) please open a ticket
and request this to setup.
We
do recommend in all cases that you use a DSN-LESS
connection. Please click here
to see a list of connection strings. |

This
process gives the NT user 'IUSR' read and write access
to any files or directories you specify. It effectively
gives a specified file the ability to be replaced
or updated by a process such as an ASP script. It
is most commonly used for Access Databases. Ensure
you apply these permissions not on the database but
on the folder so that any temporary files created
by the database can be written.. If you are using
password protection and are accessing the database
via Windows authentication you will need to contact
us to change the permissions. |
 |
This
process gives the NT user 'Everyone' read and write
access to any files or directories you specify. It
effectively gives a specified file the ability to
be written over or replaced by a process such as a
cgi or asp script. If you are using password protection
and are accessing the files via Windows authentication
you will need to contact us to change the permissions.

Click
on this button to password protect files. This will
actually create a Windows user, please make sure
you record the user/pass and make sure you keep
the first two letters of your domain as the first
two letters of the username. This does NOT create
an FTP account, it password protects a file or directory
for HTTP (web) access.)
You
can not remove the password protection or change
the user name and password with out contacting us.
If you require passwords to be constantly set up
and change we suggest you use a script to do this.

Use
this button to enable JSP on your domain. This will
automatically create a virtual mapping to the server
scripts directory (you cannot have an existing directory
called scripts or it will become unavailable) which
contains the necessary DLL to support JSP. It also
adds a host entry for your site into the configuration
file of the JSP engine. Once you have done this any
.jsp file will run in your domain.
